At around 12:30AM, on Saturday April 23rd, Selkirk FD was dispatched to a reported single car MVA, on Creble Road, in Selkirk, near the South Albany Airport. Upon arrival, first units found an automobile stuck in a covert pipe, that runs underneath Creble Road. The driver attemped to drive off of the field they originally ran off the road onto, and backed into the creek, and pipe. Selkirk FD units arrived on scene, and rescued the vehicle driver from the automobile that was submerged up to the height of the doors, in very cold water. Luckily the person who owned the property heard the accident, and called 911. The vehicle driver had some minor injuries.
