On September 11th, the Selkirk Fire Department hosted it’s annual 9/11 ceremony, to honor those that lost their lives that tragic day, and especially to honor the 343 FDNY Firefighters that lost their lives. Members from the Selkirk FD, Elsmere FD, Delmar FD, and members of the community read all 343 names of those firefighters that died doing their duty. Elsmere Chief Jim Reagan gave a slide show presentation, and discussed his experiences, as a first responder, responding to assist with the rescue and recovery effort in NYC at Ground Zero. Thank you to all that attended and helped us remember those that gave the ultimate sacifice.
