On Saturday November 22nd, Selkirk FD, along with other local fire departments, were sent on a 72-hour deployment to Western NYS, to assist with relief efforts, in the wake of the significant snow storms that hit the Buffalo area. Several Selkirk FD members, along with Engine 41, and M416, filled with pumps, generators, and other equipment, are currently stationed at the the Big Tree Volunteer Fire Department in Hamburg NY. They have already responded to numerous calls for assistance.
