At a town-wide ceremony, held on March 2nd, at the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post, in Delmar, Lieutenant Rob Messenger was named the Selkirk Fire Department Firefighter Of The Year.
Lt. Messenger is one of the most active firefighters in the Department. He has been a vital part of the Department’s training program, building new training props. Including picking items to be used as props, including things like old car doors found on the side of the road. He is always going above and beyond make himself a better firefighter, and also making those around him better firefighters.
