Thank You For Helping Spruce Up The Fire Station.
Selkirk FD would like to congratulate its two newest Interior Firefighters. FF Chris West, and FF Doug Williams, both recently completed the NYS Firefighter I course, and completed the mandatory Department Live Burn exercises to achieve their Interior Firefighter Status. They both started the class prior to COVID-19, with a break in training, during the early months of the on-going pandemic, and completed the course once training could resume safely.
CONGRATS to both Firefighters, and thank you for your dedication to your community, and your Department.
On Tuesday October 6th, the Bond Vote, for the 2020 Selkirk Fire District Building Project, will be held. Voting will be at all three Selkirk Fire Department Fire Stations. An online ZOOM public meeting will be held on Thursday September 17th at 7:00PM. We are only conducting a ZOOM meeting due to COVID19 concerns. Happy Easter And Happy Passover from the Selkirk Fire Department Family to yours.
Everyone at the Selkirk Fire Department would like to send out a Big Thank You to the members of Quick Response. They showed up today and decontaminated all three of our fire houses, all apparatus and equipment. This was at no charge to the Department. A great way to support local First Responders.
